Chris had been killed, and Lucien had revived Chris in one of the realms of hell. Ricky and Ryan have travelled to Hell and had came up with a plan to get Chris back. Lucien made a deal with them, if they made Chris remember everything and managed to make him one of the Princes of hell, then he'd bring Chris back because Chris wasn't supposed to die.
