Merida had always known that she was a fighter from the day that she was born to where she stands now. A halo of fire that has the whole world at her feet and she would be damned if any foreign or domestic threat would try to steal her dear freedom again.
Even if that threat is an old face from the past that has some unfinished business with her.
Hiccup had everything that he could ever dream of; friends, a strong bond with his father, and the villagers finally seeing him as the man that he truly is...but there is something missing in his life, a lost part of himself that was stolen from a fiery redhead long ago right before he became visible to everyone. By the gods above him, the young Viking was going to do whatever it takes to win what truly belonged to him, even if it comes down with her tucked under his arm or thrown over his shoulder kicking and screaming.
