Yael Silverman has been a wallflower all her life - an ordinary small-town girl who wanted to be more than what she saw in her peers. Between classes, editing the school paper, writing a novel, and helping to run her temple youth group, she barely has the social status to think of boys, let alone date them. She's quiet, intelligent, and quirky - all dealbreakers at home - so her social circle is small and unnoticed.

But everything changes when she steps through the gates of Kutz Camp, leaving her baggage - and her ordinary self - outside. Without the expectations she's faced her whole life, she can be anyone she wants to be.
