All my mother knows is what she was taught by her mother. Now she is pushing the same things onto me. Did I ask to be pushed into beauty pageants before I could even walk? The answer to that would be no. Now all I see is blinding lights, people judging me and pounds and pounds of makeup. Lets also not forget the taste of hairspray and the smell of burning hair. Welcome to the life I never wanted. This is my life as a beauty queens daughter.

They thought I'd break. That I'd disappear into silence. But I survived. Not for revenge, not for pity - but because my story was never meant to end there. This is the unfiltered truth of a girl who chose to rise through betrayal, fear, isolation... and found strength in survival.
