For the past 8 years, Christmas was 26 year old Kady's favourite time of year. Surrounded by her large loving family and her perfect husband Kady always thought Christmas was the time for miracles...until a year ago, 3 days before Christmas Kady got a call that flipped her perfect life upside down.
A year later and aiming to do the best she can for herself and the people who depend on her, she decides to move to a small town halfway across the country. However, with only the money in her purse, a car that's not hers and the only people she needs in her life, Kady might need to have faith in Christmas and it's miracles after all.
This is the first story I have ever written so please no hate comments. There will be spelling and grammar mistakes feel free to comment and let me know where they are.

Fate is such a thing, that brings known people together. 24 years old Kaira, is a beautiful girl. The daughter of the most powerful businessman in Canada. She gets the news that her father is willing her to marry someone she has never known or met. In between this, she learns about her mother, whom she thought to be dead was alive and living in Australia. So she decides to leave for Australia. During her stay in there, she finds that her father has sent people to take her back to Canada. Lost in her thoughts, she decides to leave the hotel and hide in the nearby bar covering her face with a scarf and asks a man to help her. When the people enter the bar and try to pull her scarf off, that handsome guy stops them and states Kaira to be his wife. And threatens to hand them to the cops. Within no time they disappear like they were never there. Kaira thanks him. He says if she wants to thank him, she should take a drink from his side. Kaira couldn't deny but said that she drinks rarely. So, she would like to just have soda. In a very few moments, both became good friends. She built an unknown bond. So, she shared everything with him. Who is this guy?? Is he going tho help Kaira?? How is Kaira going to solve her problems?? Why did her father fix her marriage to an unknown person?? In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so. Every day was a battle, getting worse and worse; that one day she just snapped. ***STRONG PLOT AND LANGUAGE*** ***UPDATE*** To my great surprise, this story has been getting more reads than I ever thought possible. I reread what I wrote once again and tried not to cringe at the many errors and awful sentence structure I had. So in the spirit of Christmas I will try to edit and perfect this story. *Short Christmas story to The Only One and Together, We Rise* Twenty-one year old Luke Cosgrove thought his life was going well. He got married to his high-school sweetheart Melody and now has three kids. But when an argument on the night of Christmas Eve occurs, he makes a wish that could change everything. He wishes he never met Melody. And what do you know? He gets his wish. Luke wakes up in his old house, finding out he is back to seventeen years old. To make things worse, he has to go to school and relive the moment where the whole school turned on him, except Melody. What shocks him is that it never happened. Everything that happened to him at seventeen is not happening, but the opposite is. It doesn't take long for Luke to want his old life back. And the only way to do that is to try making the events that lead to it happen, even if it seems impossible. But hey. Finding Christmas
(Completed) Earlier this year, a pandemic crippled the world... December 1 The earthquake hit. December 3 The waters came and the flood overpowered us. My younger brother and sister cry for our parents on the other side of the world. The only consolation I have is "Christmas is coming." My younger sister asked me how we could celebrate Christmas with nothing. I had no answer except, "We'll find a way." *** 2020 brought many unexpected things. The unexpected bad and the unexpected good. With the year coming to a close, I want to dedicate this story to the front-liners, to those living away from family, to the Filipinos affected by the recent typhoons and flood, and to my grandparents who have survived through so much and thrived through it all. Christmas time is the time to be reminded of HOPE, the hope that comes in Jesus' promised birth and life to live, PEACE, the peace that comes from the Prince of Peace alone, JOY, the joy that comes from a fresh start, a new beginning and the birth of a baby (Luke 2:5-7) and LOVE, the love that sent a King down on earth to be a baby so that He could experience life before He'd give His life for us so that we could live with Him (John 3:16) (Not edited.
