NO combat troops were sent out to a small city to fight the insurgents there. They didn't think it would take to long. Especially after insurgent personel recruitment was at the lowest it had been in years. Then NO troops a few months in the war torn city.

Also some inter dimensional BS. Like characters from shows encountering the troops. They will be from random shows and various eras of the genre.
