Alex stumbles upon her little cabin, and he falls unconscious from bloodless are a battle with a Merged mountain lion. Lorna saves his life, and he offers to take her on a journey to find her uncle. She'd spent many years playing in this forest as a child. She felt that pain in her heart again as she thought of those times. Through the years, she'd stop going into the woods to play, and she'd instead find stories for Selene. Books of all sizes and shapes, no matter the content, because it made her feel close to her sister just as she had before her parents died. She thought of her family now, how she was all alone.
