Livianna has been a chemist for as long as she could remember. Every since she was young, she would hang around her parents as they recklessly showed her basic chemical reactions, spurring her interests and not-so-intentionally pushing her into science.

She's sixteen, and junior year is always the most difficult of them all. There's all sorts of college exams to ace, on top of the abundance of homework she already has, and now she's being pressured to find a boyfriend by her friends and family.

Luckily, she does have one friend who doesn't mind. His name is Carmine. Livianna knows she can trust him, because they've been friends for nearly as long as Livianna has loved chemistry. Most importantly of all, if someone wants to bother her about love, she can conveniently say that she'd rather Carmine get a boyfriend before her.

So, there's a boy named Indigo, but it's tough. The details of his love life is few, but Carmine can't over the fact that Indigo is straight - so now Livianna has to help her best friend through that. Of all the things.
