"a word and you can say bye," i warned as i hold the knife up to her throat, not breaking the eye contact. "you don't have to do this," she whispered calmly as she slowly placed a hand on mine. "what the hell, do you really want to die?" as i slightly pushed the blade into her skin. "you don't have to this, you still have time to put things right," she reminds. "no i must, i have to do this, there's no going back," i was determined yet afraid, angered and lost. "do you want to talk about it?" she asked as i collapsed to the floor. what the hell am i even doing? this is not me, it isn't. ___________________________________________ isn't it surreal where fate brings us to? ray parker, always so close to destruction or maybe he was destruction himself. unexpectedly, meets upon peace herself. something he wished he was. but when destruction and peace comes together, the sun finally shines, bringing light. something everyone needs.

I'm here to love you," were like a cruel joke. Love? The word tasted like ash in my mouth. His actions screamed something entirely different. "Your sweet words won't change anything. He shoved me onto the bed, my head hitting the pillows hard. Stunned, I begged silently, God, please, save me from this monster. His hands were on my throat again, squeezing, stealing my air. Blurred vision, his eyes bloodshot, furious. "How dare you?" he growled. "Consequences, baby." ************************************ He, steeped in darkness, she, bathed in light. A collision was inevitable, a clash of opposing forces that threatened to shatter them both. Would he succumb to the light, or would he drag her down into his darkness? The stakes were higher than either of them could have imagined. This wasn't just love. It was a war for their souls.
