(Y/N) is a 20 year old dragon/human hybrid which makes no sense considering both her parents are human. She was kidnapped by dragon hunters at the age of 9 they abused her physically and sexually sometimes they'd get their dragons to sexually abuse her making her hate and fear humans and dragons. When she was 20 she finally escaped the hunters and flew away from them until she was shot down by a net from a somewhat familiar island and crash landed on it injuring her wing in the process. Will the blonde boy who saved her be able to get her to trust humans and dragons again or will she cripple under the strength of her fear?

Alaya is a normal teenage girl. Without much drama in her life, she has two trustworthy friends and three brothers as well as a baby sister. So when she starts hearing whispers in her sleep, she's suspicious. Who's there? She'd wonder every night. She'd call out, even go outside, and yet, she'd find no answer. Alaya always felt there was something missing in her life. And one night, when her whispers called her further than she'd expected, she started to discover what it is. ================================================================================= Take Flight on a Dragon/The Other-Worldly Protector (it's the same story) heavily inspired this one, so I recommend you go check it out! This is a HTTYD/RTTE story, although you don't need to have watched the show to understand the plot. The characters (for the most part) aren't mine! OLD: This is old as hell, and while I'm still proud of it in some areas this is your warning that consistency is eh, and characters are significantly out of character in some areas (this especially applies to Hiccup around chapters 33 - 40, I'm so sorry). Also, several loose ends are left dangling, so if that's not your cup of tea I don't recommend this.Complete

Together with a dragon no one wants, a pair of wings she has no idea how got there and pretty much no past to speak of she is going on an adventure she could've never imagined. She lived a quiet, relatively ordinary life until a young boy and his unusual dragon intruded on her home. Y/n is a young girl in Berk who never wanted to hurt a dragon and doesn't believe dragons are as bad as everyone thinks they are. She believes that they are just misunderstood.
