Two girls. Two unique powers. One destiny. Since the beginning of time magic has run the lands, the kingdom thrived on it. Then in their time of need, magical beings are no where to be found. A force from across the seas attacked and the kingdom fell from their brute force. Now under the foreigners laws, magic is outlawed. Anyone whom practises can be hanged, tortured or set alight for their part. So when his little girl started showing signs of being a magical being, he panicked. Picking her up and leaving the city. Setting out for someone whom could properly protect her. He hadn't known of her potential, her mother had died during childbirth and he hadn't known about her part in magic. The outlaws who disagreed were either magical beings their selves or advocates who could remember how much good the magical beings did and would continue to fight for them against this foreign rule.

The Nightshade Kingdom was a land of perpetual twilight, where shadows whispered secrets and the stars bled silver against an endless black sky. It was here, among the ruins of a forgotten world, that Runa, the Queen of Light, ruled with a heart of fire. She was no delicate monarch draped in golden silks-she was a storm wrapped in radiance, chaos incarnate. It was her chaos that made her beautiful. But fate was cruel. The Apocalyptic Riders, the bringers of ruin, marched upon her borders, and among them was the one whose name was spoken in fear-Asher. He was no god's chosen, but a god's curse, a harbinger of destruction, a warrior with fire in his veins and darkness in his wake.
