Mallory's Melody

When seventeen-year-old violinist, Mallory Trent, gets to be one of the lucky instrumentalists selected to be a Star at the exclusive Starlight Academy, an art school in search of raw and distinctive talents, she never expected what was coming.

After weeks of training and preparation, Mallory heads closer to achieving her dream of being a star, but things take an unexpected turn for her when Diana Gilbert, a wickedly passionate rival, plots her elimination from the academy. Mallory is devastated after her elimination, and to add insult to injury, she discovers that her sickly father has been keeping secrets about her dead, biological mother from her for years.

By fluke, Mallory gets back into the academy, and all seems well, until she realises that Starlight Academy has been against her all along. It does not aim for her success, but rather, her undoing...
