Danai is crossing between worlds discovering what the Shadows are and what they want from her. Together with a former homeless girl, and with her only friend, Irene, they experience the terror that has invaded their lives. Reality and magic weave a dangerous daily life with betrayals and twists. An uncertain legacy from the past follows Danai, which she cannot explain in the present, and her future is uncertain. The scars on her body, after her nightmares along with messages from the world of dreams, make her realize that the coming battle will determine the fate of the whole world. The Shadows have returned to stay stronger than ever, and nothing will be the same anymore.
