Painters of the Mind

Phantasia is an orphaned boy. A terrible infancy illness has left him hideously deformed and frail.

But he was born with a special gift, the gift of artistry.

The other children of the orphanage despise Phantasia for his unusual appearance and, most of all, the possibility that he might one day rise from nothing to become someone great.

This is a short story about runaway hatred, triumph against the odds, and the power of the mind.
