How the Solo Twins meet a lonely force sensitive girl named Leona on the planet of Naboo, and took her aboard the Starkiller Base, and offers her a personal assistant job, Leona and Katherine Solo become friends after a few weeks, and a few months later, Katherine's brother, Kylo (Ben) falls for her and she finds it in her heart to give Ben her love in return.

So they do fall in love eventually, Kylo promised to protect Leona from bullying stormtroopers, and also one kind stormtrooper, whom she named Finn from his stormtrooper number, FN-2187, he saved her life from 2 of his own comrades, he never bullied anyone. He said to Kylo and Katherine that saving Leona from them was the really right thing to do.

From time to time, Kylo gets protective and worried about Leona, because of her unfortunate run in with stormtroopers, bullying and her emotional instability doesn't make it easy for her either. And her unstable emotions also allow her to cry at movies easily.
