Bakugou has suffered from depression and managed to hide it from everyone, until he found his father murdered in the backyard. The killer was never caught. It was the 1st day of 2nd year of U.A Bakugou wasn't himself when he came to school. At the same time he had gotten into intoxicants, of course he had a drug dealer but it was an unknown person.
Bakugou did get caught to Kirishima and successfully got him into drugs as well. If they get caught it'll be the end of everything.
