Jesse has been beaten, abused and harmed in more ways than you can imagine. Life seemed hopeless. Unwilling to stay in her toxic relationship, she decided to free herself from her burdens and jump off a bridge and end it all one way or another. Her story doesn't end at that bridge though, merely a beginning of a new chapter in her life.

After losing a long battle of betrayal from his former mate Alicia his heart turned to stone. Until one night one of his son's pet kitten's got out and Trever begged him to help find the kitten before it was too late. Daniel couldn't say no to the sweet voice of his son. They walked through the woods ears to the ground trying to find the kitten when Trever pointed to the bridge. The most beautiful woman stood there on the edge and before Daniel could react Kiel his wolf howled "MATE". That night changed Daniel. The image of the one he wanted more than anything falling into the ice cold river, it tore him into shreds. As he saves this beautiful woman from the cold water he will learn that this little human has more fire and light in her heart and eyes than anyone he has ever met. I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose.
