The Past Comes Back.

When Kagome comes home from jewel shard hunting finally, Naraku is dead, she holds the whole jewel in her hands once again, and Inuyasha comes home with her.

And once she told Mom this, she was excited to get back to school and to her normal life.

Mom chose to throw a welcome and victory party for Kagome and Inuyasha both. She thought since they had been through so much, it would be an honor to give them one.

Inuyasha was flattered, and as long as there was a stake, he was in, or so he said. And Kagome later on admits to her mother that, She and Inuyasha broke up, but they talked it out, and it was hard to stomach at first, but she was ready for them to be just friends, And He felt the same way.

But then, as dinner was half over, everyone was laughing, and the timing was one of the worst, For Kagome was about to learn the truth of what killed her father years ago.

Mom and Grandpa had told Souta and Kagome his death was an accident, but it wasn't really. It was the mission he and mom were on when he died.

And it was all because of an alien or so they called it. Mom tried to tell people about it, but no one believed her, and she was the only survivor, and they all called her crazy, and now they were back.

They lost contact with a group of people they sent out to the planet where Her Father had died, and Mom had been too.

It was gone, No one was talking. Nothing was there, and contact was very important, so they wanted her to guide a team back out there.
