This is basically the aftermath of the Phantom Planet.
The book is a lot better then the summery.
"Well I don't mean to scare you child, but there must be a new ruler. And since you, my boy defeated Pariah Dark, you are the heir to the throne. You are the new king of ghosts."
"B-but, there's no way!" The boy laughed. "Skulker will come or Technus and then maybe even The Box Ghost will join in and beat me to a pulp. If I was really king, then why do they fight me?"
Clockwork sighed.
"See that's just it Daniel. They haven't attacked you for almost a week, and it's not because they need to regain strength."
Danny fell silent.
Clockwork was right.

Danny while fighting in the zone, fell through a natural portal. Normally not a issue right? Well...normally. But despite his best efforts, Danny can not seem to find a portal that stays open long enough for him to reach it and go home. Now he finds himself having lived for years of traveling the world seeking a way home, The Godfather to one child. One who he can not help but feel awkward about being apart of their upbringing, One young Vlad Masters. Danny has to figure out a way, to keep little Vlad safe, whit causing as little damage to the time stream as possible. The strangest thing of all of this, besides the fact Danny is a grown man living through his parent's and godfather's childhood, is the fact Clockwork wont answer? Author's note: This story was brought on by a late night miss reading of a prompt: What if Vlad becomes the Godfather to Danny after his parents died? So... now here we are. Hope you enjoy!
Danny Phantom: A Game of Shadows and Silence
Now that the world has become more accepting of ghosts due to them helping save the world, the ghosts have lost interest, & those who haven't lost interest are a bit too scared of Danny to fight him. With this being the case the value of "The Ghost Boy" has become pretty much useless & so even Skulker & Walker have lost interest. Not only have they all lost interest but they have become somewhat of a group of allies for Danny, to Danny's surprise. But now that the whole world knows of Danny, a much darker problem arises. It turns out that ghosts weren't the only supernatural force to worry about & they definitely weren't the most dangerous. This danger is unlike anything Danny has fought before & he will have to rethink his entire life: trust those who he shouldn't: go to a much more mature, darker place, in order to defeat them. But not only is Danny's family in danger, but these forces are out for blood. People will suffer, & unless Danny can find the hope & courage to push himself harder than he ever has before, the whole world might meet its end. Danny must accept & understand that this isn't a simple case of ghost hunting anymore. These dangers can hide & Danny can't sense them. They are undetectable within the darkness, & move like whispers in the wind. This is a game of shadows & silence. The question is: will Danny win, or is this the end of everything Danny has worked so hard to protect over the years?Complete
