The Benchers are a multi-gender basketball team, proclaimed to be the best of the best. Adoring fans, fame, money, they have it all. almost none off the fans knowing that they once were just benchers. Benchers are people that got left behind, that previous coaches never played more than 1 minute because they weren't good enough. The people who were afraid to handle the ball in their first year of their career because they were told they had to pass it to a better player, that they weren't good enough. Girls and boys who got yelled at that they were failures when they lost only 1 game. These are Benchers.
And let me tell you,
they sure pack a punch...

When you first meet Juvia she seems very nice and kind. Which she is, but not to herself. Ever since her dear mother's death she has constantly blamed herself. Now when you first meet Gajeel he may seem very mean and cold to you, but really he's broken. He's been breaking just like Juvia has. He just doesn't really show it. Both siblings feel as though in some way it was their fault. Both find different ways to deal with their guilt. Both have built up walls and deceiving looks. Slowly one is turning to death while the other struggles to try and survive. There are many popular or well known groups of people in Fairy Tail High, like most schools. The most well known in Fairy Tail High though is Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfillia, Erza Scarlet, and Gray Fullbuster. This group of people try to help anyone they can in their reach. Most people love and adore them. Some don't. For example, Gray Fullbuster's neighbors. Juvia Lockser and Gajeel Redfox. They both agree that these people are too nosy. To Juvia Gray and to Gajeel the bunny girls pipsqueak friend, Levy. Then again maybe fate was pulling all these people together for the better. Or for the worse. They didn't care that even at a young age, Lucy went home to an empty house. While all the other children were able to be greeted by their family's. Lucy didn't have a family of her own. Her parents were murdered a year after her birth. She was put in a foster home, and even then her foster parents could care less about her. At the age of 6, Lucy ran away from that life. But she wasn't able to escape her bullies. That was, until, Lucy got the chance to leave all of it behind. She was older and had enough money to leave. She moves to a new town. A new school. Lucy figured it wouldn't be that easy to escape all the bad people in life. So she prepared herself. She prepared herself for everything. As so she thought. She meets the most popular kids in the school and learns new things. She falls in love for the first time, just to have it smashed into pieces. After that, Lucy thought she could never trust anyone ever again. She figured everyone was against her and that she'd be alone forever. Forever is a long time and Lucy knew she couldn't make it.
