Aria and her little brother, Alexis, have been involved in a drug operation for years, run by a cruel, sarcastic, more-than-an-asshole type of guy named Alton. Though they've become accustomed to this dangerous life, new challenges arise and a stranger joins the crew. Can he be trusted? Or will their unsteady world finally crumble?

I felt the tears rise and I looked down for a minute, gathering all of my resolve. I looked up again and stared him right in the eye. "You know what? I trusted you!"
