Just something I threw together. This poem... I guess... is for the unbroken. The victims and survivors of any trauma, no matter how vague. This is for you because your fight is mostly unknown, but should be acknowledged. It is the hardest war to fight because it is one against yourself. This is also for those who lost, and will never read this.

To Be Broken
What does it mean to be broken? (I wrote this poem myself) ______________________________ Why be sad? When no one knows how bad You feel your Pain makes you sore. Why be mad? When no one can tell How hard you fell How it hurts MORE than a tad. Why be happy? Be like all those sappy People pretending to be What they want you to see. Why be frightened? Senses heightened Screaming, As sick people are beaming. Why be tired? When no one knows How your wired How you grow. Why be honest? When all known is a broken promise When no one believes you Even if what you say is true. Why hurt? When no one feels your pain When no one's ever alert When you never feel sane. Why pretend? When you know in the end No one will be there Because no one cares. Why care? When no one cares enough for you To know what your going through They think your heart is unfair. Why try? When no one sees that you do They just pry Thinking they know more than you. Why speak? When no one will ever hear They'll say you're a freak They don't see a single tear. Why do anything at all? -A first person story of surviving wlw sexual assault, abusive relationships, gaslighting and childhood anxiety. -This story isn't everything that happened, just the parts i feel ready to speak up about❤️ -the book where every story matters and each voice deserves to be heard. -This book is based on a true story and personal experiences, I've recently written this after struggling with processing my abuse and assault so this book really means the world to me. You guys are the first people to read it so I really hope you enjoy it and if you are in a similar situation I hope this brings you some form of comfort, like a warm hug in the form of words. -There is not nearly enough awareness around women on women sexual assault so I'm here to do my part and add my drop into the ocean. -When this book is published (and turned into an actual book lol) it will have a special section at the back for the reader to personalise if they don't have anyone to talk to or just want to get their feelings written down. This section will also offer support, statistics and advice from someone who has been in the same position. -Any funds made when I publish this book will be going to a chosen sa survivors charity. I hope you enjoy and remember you are not alone my loves🫶🏻
Abroad
The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. Closer Together (In Editing)
Even a person surrounded by hate can find the one person who loves them. Who understands what they go through and is there even in the worst of times. You need to stay close to that person and never let them go. Hold on with every bit of strength you have, even if you're torn apart. (I wrote this awhile ago now even through it is still somewhat recent to wattpad. As i reread it now I realize it could use a lot more description and explaining. Dear ...
This is my story to "you". This is a story about loving someone so much and after all else you don't always get the happily ever after that you always want. No matter the fighting and clinging towards this love. Sometimes the only thing you have left is the memories. This became a story for me to heal my wounds and grow into the woman I am now. I am publishing my story because for so long I have been writing this story for one person but I think others can relate and empathize with this story.

I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger.
