During the Summer , Eleven and Max were sent to an all girls summer camp , not knowing each other . As they grew closer they started to develop feelings for each other , even though Eleven already had a boyfriend . It didn't matter to them , they never thought they would see each other again and on the last night they shared a passionate kiss with each other , that left them with chills all through the night . Neither the of them had ever felt this way before . They thought it was just a thing of the past until one day , Max transfers to Elevens school.
