I think the guy accidentally said exciting. Im sure he was meant to say adrenaline-inducing.
At his funeral, a letter was left on Sentisy's casket for us. Its contents were a map with Sentisy's neat signature crossed out on it and the words 'I won't leave'.
We went to the area marked 'Cave for you' and that's when it started.

The trials of Emi
(This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". This will cover the events of the scorch trails and the death cure.) --- Emi, her twin brother Thomas, and a small group of gladers had been rescued and taken to a safe haven. Or so it seemed. A new mission to rescue those taken from them leads them to a city. The last city. After Emi finally comes to terms with everything that's happened something unfolds that changes everything again. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. a girl was born into a dystopian world where two societies were separated. those who are immune were placed into mazes whilst those who are gifted with knowledge were known as "the enemies" and placed in labs across the nation. unluckily for her she was placed with the enemies, known as WCKD. her abnormal intelligence made her stand out from the crowd, especially with no family members. she had no intention whatsoever on the change of the course of her life. she felt betrayed by the people she thought who would protect her and care for her. not everyone is who they seem, right? - (written in no caps, sorry for any editing mistakes - unedited as well) - gally groaned, folding his arms like a child. "Yes I assumed. So love this is hard to tell you but-" I don't hear the rest of his words because I get hit with an overwhelming smell that takes my breath away. It almost reminds me of lemon, but as how lemon is a simplistic smell this was anything but. It was like it was the most yellow, juiciest ripest lemon ever created. And now I've come to the realization that I am fantasizing more about a lemon then to what the scent belongs to. The Pit, also referred to as 'the long ending' or 'death of despair', is dug in the year 1898, when crime became a struggling thing in the town Mervy. Murderers, rapers and other heavy bad people got sentenced to death, but the major of Mervy decided the electric chair went to quick for humans made out of pure evil and filth. He collected all of them in the centre of the town, and made them dig for days and days. And each day the prisoners disappeared deeper in the ground, being forced to dig until there was no ability to get out anymore. The pit got three rules: 1. After committing a crime above robbery, you'll be sentenced to end your days in the company of the earth. As close as you can possible imagine. 2. Three ways to exit the Long Ending, 1. Climb the dirt walls, and fall your way to death, 2. Make someone from the world above replace your spot in the pits. And be forever stuck with the guilt. 3. End your miserable little life, and be freed forever. 3. The rain is your water, meat will crawl either from the ground, or'll have to be ripped from the bones of your fellow criminals. And through all the years, thousands of people born in Mervy ended their lives praising the freedom they once held in their hands. But breathed their last breaths, only holding dirt. Emi, first girl the Glade has seen. Tougher than she looks and more than ready to prove it. Since day one her and Gally have been at each other's throats. Fighting constantly and not just with their words. (Gally fanfiction which will include smut. It also has an actual story line. Think of it as an AU to the original Maze Runner. It'll mostly follow the main story line with some changes. Mostly focusing on Emi and Gally and their relationship.) ___ I did the stupidest thing and glanced towards the leader's voice. Next thing I know I was tackled to the ground with a steaming Gally on top of me. He went for my face but it was easy enough for me to block him. I had to struggle a little to fix myself enough to roll us. Once I got myself in just the right angle while blocking Gally's random throws I pushed him off me. His hands held tightly on my shirt pulling me with him. We hit a slight slope perfectly causing us to roll a few times. I made sure that when we stopped I was on top. I only came to the city to earn some money, so that I could help the people who remain in my home town. Who can't leave even if they wanted to. If they try the city poeple just send them back. "There's no room here for people like you." They would say. You had to have some real skills if you were able to come to the city and stay. I came here to work, and now I am being dragged to a place with flashly lights by a guy I don't even like. He is creepy, shelf-centered, and overall harsh to everyone around him. Little did I know he was planning on cause a tragedy.
