Chris/Hero Boy now has a family of his own. Two children who carry his DNA in his veins, and a lovely, hard-working wife who's heart is made of iron and steel. She is now at that stage where she believes equilibrium is unachievable, and is completely out of it during the holidays. However, on the night before Christmas Eve, Chris suggests she gets a good night's sleep. Her dream begins with an anomalous start. She wakes up to the sound of quarreling, engine screeches, and flashes of glistening light. A magical train appears , revealing a spectacled-man who claims to be taking children to the North Pole; the manifestation of her husband's fabrication used to put their children to sleep. Yet the Polar Express stood right in front of a pair of eyes that only seek truth. She ends up going on a journey that makes her realize why he believed all these years.

Once upon a time a snow king fell for an apathetic servant, then a prince-turned-bear found true love in a fellow prince who almost shot him in the face. Almost. Then, of course, one can't forget a monster who found himself wanting to be more human. Bit by bit. For love. Protagonists quirky and not, sarcastic and witty and a bit too self-aware. Every fairy tale has their typical happy ending but it looks as though these ones had to take detours and backtrack on the way to theirs... oh well. As long as it ends well, who cares if it's a little bit odd. Each story is its own stand-alone tale of romance, though there may be bonus shorts for some.Complete

Beth is rude and mad but it's because she's on the wrong train. It's her fault. Along the way, they discover common ground and get together. But not before a humorous and tension filled story line that comes together unexpectedly. Finally sexual tension develops between them. Will they fall in love after they complete the trip neither wanted to experience in the first place. Will the sorcery of the Love Train prevail this time? Catching a glimpse of a legendary all-white reindeer is supposed to bring good luck. Not for Georgia Greene. Though Sue tells Georgia stories about how seeing the white reindeer is a lucky event, Georgia is skeptical. She doesn't feel very lucky. Not only is she stranded and snowed in, but she's also stuck in the presence of Sue's surly son, Felix Nissen. But despite her distaste for the holidays, Georgia has to admit there's something special about the Christmas tree farm--almost magical. Maybe the reindeer brought her more than luck...
