I've always heard the saying 'Life isn't fair'. But never had I ever thought I'd be saying it. Much less learning the hard way.

Hi, my name is Corinna Evans.
I'm your typical everyday 17 year old girl. I have the 'perfect' family, friends, boyfriend...

But that just isn't the truth. I USED to have all that 'perfect' stuff until I lost it all just because of some stupid cruise my parents decided to go on. Then I left it ALL behind to move to L.A, California with my 19 year old college brother and his friend.

Any hey, you might be like...okay then?

Well I lost my parents, my friends, my boyfriend and now I'm stuck in an apartment with my brother and his annoying friend/roommate. Who is oddly attractive.

You might be like... It's a lose win situation but it isn't. My brother and his roommate are the bad boys, deal with the wrong crowd, stuff the shouldnt and the worse thing of all?

I'm being drug down with them.

Suddenly perfection isn't her only option. ***** Ella Volkov is a gifted music student, but she's depressed and starting to crack under the pressure of high school. Her overbearing father won't even let her choose what instrument she plays. Then she finds herself alone at a party with Ren, her best friend's crush. She'd always thought he was rude, but after that night he's all Ella can think about. Now she's trapped. If Ella dates Ren, it will ruin her friendship with Jenny. But if she stays true to Jenny, she's losing the one person who can see past her scars. It's up to Ella to decide if she will forge her own path, or stay in the "perfect" box designed for her...
