Two Kings (History Plays, Book 4)

12 parts Complete Mature

Childhood playmates, turned partners in crime, turned bitter enemies recount their falling out in dueling narratives. Told in opposing order, each man tells his side of what is turning out to be a deadly disagreement. A monderized retelling of Shakespeare's Richard II, told in the style of 'The Last Five Years'. Trigger/Content Warning: extreme profanity throughout. Mental illness issues discussed at length including a major character being hospitalized. Highly suggestive sexual content, it is made clear characters are having/going to have sex. A character comes out to family expecting a bad reaction (nothing bad occurs, however the character's fear may be unsettling to some readers). Two characters fight physically multiple times, some grotesque violence. More description below if needed. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed. A character suffers from extreme mental illness. Two characters are stated to have attempted suicide in the past. A man suffers from paranoia and delusions. A man is hospitalized and briefly describes the hospitalization. Some mild dark humor relating to mental illness/suicide
