Rachel Andric and The Editor (Rewrite)

It has been more than a year since Rachel Andric defeated and exiled the intruder from The Story. In the process, she chose to go against the teachings of the Guardians to change The Story and give them a chance for an actual, unwritten life. On the day that she is to be married, Rachel discovers her fiancé, Guy of Gisborne, has disappeared, injuring one of their mutual friends in his escape.

Now facing the fear that her soon-to-be-husband has gotten cold feet, Rachel begins to search for him and starts to uncover an unpleasant trail of nefarious deeds her fiancé committed. Taking Merlin Emrys, Queen Guinevere, and Alan-a-Dale along with her, she delves deeper into The Story to find Guy of Gisborne and uncover the truth of why he has betrayed her.

Meanwhile, left behind, Will Scarlet is warned in a peculiar dream that someone is going to undergo Final Death. Marooned in The Story with a long-haired former Guardian, the two of them decide to look further and find out the truth about Final Death, in the hopes that Will can save the life of one of his friends.

One name lurks behind it all, the greatest mystery of The Story. The one who claims Will to be a son ... the creator of The Story itself.
