Imagine that everything you have fought for, for years, your ideals to which you put your heart and even your soul are shattered into pieces in just a few seconds. That was what Jasper, the quartz soldier, felt after hearing about the death of Pink Diamond.
Sometime later, when she faced with the son of the great rebel leader "Steven Universe", she was imprisoned in a bubble and in her own corruption.

- Do I really deserve all this? Was it so bad to fight for what I believe? - It was what she repeated herself over and over again inside her prison.

Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet. SLOW UPDATES Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.

(This story ends near the end of the episode Jail Break) I'm keeping this child-friendly. None of what I consider cursing is in this book. And it's just friendship. And forgiveness. It might be a bit of a sad story, maybe... but anyway, it's not romantic love-stuff. And there might be a little violence because – y'know – Jasper's in the book. But not too bad. I try to keep the characters, well, in character, but I probably didn't succeed. Includes some of my own theories about Yellow Diamond and Homeworld; not everything in this story is canon.
