**Based on a writing prompt from @writing.prompt.s**

Ever since he knew how to write letters, my son Austin has been writing prayer-letters every night, always starting with "Deerest God." I used to think it was all harmless until one morning, an enchanting doe-like goddess shows up at our door and moves in, catering to my son's every whim.

The Beauty Of Death (COMPLETE)

48 parts Complete Mature

Aphrodite was tasked to make Thanatos a beautiful, mortal wife. To sit along his throne in the underworld. She was made to appear a soft, delicate flower, so much love to share, and optimism no one really had. Thanatos is the personification of death. You know, the man in the dark hooded tunic with the scythe. A Greek god tasked to collect souls of the newly deceased and bring them to the underworld. He decided when their time was up, merely decided the fate of individuals. He is the son of Nyx, goddess of night, and the brother of Hypnos, God of sleep. However a soul so sweet didn't deserve to be there. Thanatos knew her purpose, watched over her since she had been born, his hard shell never deliberately expressing care for her. But at 25 Aphrodite confronted Thanatos to bring his betrothed to the underworld. He refused, but time was ticking, the people were growing impatient. It had to be done.
