Azoura's village gets raided by the Hiera, an Evil nation that uses a combination of dark magic and advanced technology, to conquer the world. She gets stabbed in the chest, but survives. The King of Arilith takes Azoura in as the only survivor of the raid, and gives her an extensive combat training. Azoura is now nineteen years old and has been in training for eleven. She has met her friends, with whom she's in a unit. She's out for revenge and her training is finished soon.

The only difference is, is that her secret is that she's part dragon. Her sister is supposed to slay anything mystical creature especially dragons but she doesn't know her secret or her best friend's. At least not yet or him hers and you know what's funny? He's got a huge crush on her. She's also adopted so that's why she's a dragon too. Although not American. She wasn't born American anyways. They don't exactly know each other's secret as of right now and so she have no one to help her. Looks like she's on her own she never belonged with humans anyways. Her brothers, Alexx being the oldest after Lydia, supports her greatly, but disapproves of some of her actions, while Gandell, the feisty 9 year old, looks up at Lydia and wants to be an assassin as well. Lydia's friend, Daniel, is also and assassin. Lydia has to travel all around Abithia and serve her group known as The Shadows, a group of assassins feared all around Abithia. This story really starts in the middle. Ari, who often goes by A, is propped up against a tree in the middle of a forest with a dagger in her stomach. She's lost a lot of blood already, and she keeps losing more. Helios is kneeling next to her, and they're both trying to figure out what to do. I'll start at the beginning, though. Ari is a wanderer, traveller, adventurer, and lots of other things. She doesn't have a home, until one day she does. She's chased into the Akiire territory by the Akiire's enemies; the Tesera. Luckily for her, the chief of the Akiire tribe takes her in. Akiire medicine men and women fuss over her until they're sure she's safe. Then the Akiire initate her as a member of their tribe. She gladly accepts. She's started to like it there, after all. Then Helios starts talking to her. He's nothing special in the tribe. He's a good warrior, but all the warriors are good. The bad ones have already died. Nonetheless, by the time we get to the forest with the dagger and all that, A has only spoken to Helios a few times. Now he's her only way to stay alive.Complete
