This isn't a story about happy endings and riding off into the sunset. It isn't a story about death and despair either. It is somewhere in between, a bit of this, and a bit of that, about broken wings and golden cages, and some memories best left forgotten.

They were like islands in the sea, separate on the surface but connected in the deep.

An empty Prince, a perfect enigma.

A Princess whose entire life was someone else's idea.

A broken boy stuck in time, not knowing if he should move forward, or stay in the moments that are nothing more than memories in his head.

A girl who believes with every fibre of her being that no matter how hard life gets, everything will be alright. Always.

A lost boy desperately trying to catch up, to hold on to something, someone, so that he doesn't fall behind.

An intellectual who desperately tries to stay strong, shouldering everything on his own, fooling himself that he does not need anybody else.

What do you get when you throw in six completely different people, one island, and a sea of conflicting emotions?

Things that will leave you shattered. And healed. Happy, but sad. Things which cannot be expressed in mere words.
