"Bro don't play with me like that."
"There is a little twist."
"What."
"So we can't have a hot girls summer in Hawaii without a place to stay so I may or may not have booked us a beach house reservation for the summer, but they people wouldn't let us have it for just two people and they said others were looking into it to so we will be splitting the house with a few other people this summer."

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. When Leah first hooked up with Landon, she thought it would be a one time thing. Once turned into twice, turned into countless times. Now, she's wondering if it's all been worth it. Has she been wasting her time with someone who will never want anything more? After all, Landon has never been one to settle down with anybody, why would he start now? He's the guy you call for a fun time, not a serious relationship. Leah isn't even sure that word is in his vocabulary. Maybe it's time to break off their whatever-you-call-it and find someone who knows what the word serious means. Landon has always been the "fun-time guy", the one you call if you're looking for a party or a one-night stand. He's never thought twice about that label or what it might mean for his future in the romance department. Hell, he never thought he'd think the word romance until one decision on a fateful summer night proved how quickly things could change. He'd always imagined hooking up with Leah. She was sexy, single, sassy- everything he thought was important in a woman. Landon never actually expected her to say yes when he jokingly suggested they have some fun late one summer night. After that, everything changed. He couldn't get enough of her. The more time they spent together, the more he wanted to be around her, and strange new feelings started to bloom in his chest. Is it love, or something else? And would it be enough to show Leah how he's changed, or would it send her running faster toward the hills? Find out soon in Hot Summer Nights.

[Complete || 7x featured] Some summers are meant to burn. April O'Brien is a firefly-bright, restless, and done living under anyone else's rules. Fresh out of high school, she knows college isn't part of her story, no matter how hard her father pushes. So when a summer getaway to Hawaii offers her the freedom to breathe, she takes it, determined to leave expectations behind and soak up every bit of sunlight. But paradise comes with a twist. Javier-the boy who once had her heart and shattered it-is here too, and he's no longer just a memory. He's older. Sharper. Still heartbreakingly familiar. What was supposed to be a peaceful escape quickly spirals into late-night tension, unfinished conversations, and a pull April swore she'd outgrown. She's built walls since Javier. She's learned how to pretend she doesn't care. But under the stars and crashing waves, pretending starts to feel impossible. Just when it seems like they might find their way back to each other, April discovers Javier hasn't come back empty-handed-he's carrying secrets that could upend everything. And as truth and betrayal collide, she has to decide whether this summer will be the start of something real... or the final goodbye she never got.
