The Valkren are fabled creatures, known for their immortality and incredible magical ability. But the main story surrounding them is the fleeting rumour that a Valkren is always stationed at hogwarts to protect all those who reside there.
Mayai is the current Valkren, and has been for around 200 years, and seen all the great wizards go through its doors. Before the War, she protected the Marauders, and even after her people were attacked by death eaters, she protected Hogwarts.
Now, 13 years later, her old friend returns to Hogwarts, and a new threat looms on the horizon.
