Why I Accept Death

My writing began at the age of sixteen and after the death of my cousin, Shantel. Her death was the most devastating thing I had ever experienced. Shantel’s death left me in a state of depression, which was paralyzing every aspect of my life. Tired of the, “Grip,” that the after effects of death had on me, I decided to sit down and write out all of my emotions on a piece of paper and that piece of paper, “Changed my life!”
