I hate my life. Why was fate so cruel? I hate living my life in fear. To be afraid of people who might just barge into my house and kill me. But most of all, to be afraid of my friends.

Cry, Minx, Ken, Russ, Red and Snake are half animal, half humans that are called hybrids and are hunted for..... well, being a hybrid. They hear about a place called Summerland from another hybrid. A place where hybrids are allowed to stay without the fear of being hunted. But there's tiny a problem: Cry, Minx and Snake all have a crush on their human friends. Now, what will they do? Will they leave their love behind and head for the safety of Summerland? Or will they stay for their love and risk getting killed? Or perhaps there is another way...?
