The year is 2030. The United States is officially at war, once again. A bloody, devastating, horrific war. For the majority of the US, they can go about their everyday lives not affected by the war, but not Everley. Everley's brother Sebastian is one of the nation's top commanding officers, which also makes him the number one target for enemies to attack. Sebastian knows that it won't be him they'll come after, but instead his family, especially his younger sister Everley. To protect her he hides her away and has his best friend and fellow soldier, Asher, watch after her. Little does he know Everley and Asher have a past, a once upon a time hook up turned into more, and they haven't seen each other since. Now forced to live together and be under his protection, who knows where this will lead.
