The world has fallen captive to an unknown disease. People around the world are suffering, and many of them are dying. The rest of the world can not bear to continuously watch their loved ones die. In a desperate attempt to find a cure, the government was forced to extract a "special" and rare element that has ability to destroy deadly and infectious pathogens. Once this element was tested and had proven its effectiveness, it was distributed. The results were remarkable, everyone was free of sickness; or so they thought. Unfortunately, with time, this element would be able to evolve into something that would alter the course of history. As humanity faces an uncertain future, there is a growing sense of unease and apprehension. The only thing that is certain is that the world will never be the same again.

Note from publisher: Yes, I am fully aware of the similarities between my story and AMC's "The Walking Dead". I can assure you that my story is completely original, and while I was inspired by The Walking Dead to write this story, it has no relation to the show or its content, whatsoever.

It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. This is the sequel to Elemental Outbreak. Who would've thought we'd be here. Honestly I didn't think that 5 page story from like a decade ago or something like that would become this, me and my friends are planning for a trilogy as well so it's crazy to think about it looking back. Anyways let me move past the nostalgia trip and whatnot lol, there might be minor spoilers below so if you haven't read the first here's the warning. One month after the previous events, our survivors are trying to settle into the zombie apocalypse and survive, the first time they got lucky with a secure home now it's starting to seem like they'll never find a home. That's not their only problem after the death of their enemy once thought to be friend, the whole world started to gain a second set of elemental abilities how will they manage? Along side that a new force of evil is starting to fill the void our big bad has left behind.

So this is been in the works for ages it first started off as a mini story with my friends way back when and it was at most like 5 pages so this definitely needs some explaining and expanding. And recently one of those friends told me they wanted to start this up again so now we and a few others are gonna bring this to life fully new story and all. So this will be a collaborative project with a whole bunch of friends. The main idea when it was first made was a zombie apocalypse with the people in that world having elemental based abilities. It still is mainly that we just decided to change up the world lore and whatnot. So hopefully y'all enjoy. Life seemed well in this world, people waking up going to school or to work or simply just getting up to go on a walk. Life was good, great even until an explosion that destroyed one of Americas most famous cities went off instantly starting a panic across the world. At first everyone thought it was gonna lead to a war with another country little did everyone know it would turn into something much, much worse. A zombie outbreak is upon the world will the survivors be ready or will they fall victim to the apocalypse.

The same mother whose skull you just bashed open on her kitchen floor for trying to rip your jaw apart. They were all once alive. And the outbreak ended their lives. They could have been your cousin, your friend, your neighbor. It could have been you. But you hold on to the fact that it wasn't. And because of that, you go on. ___ Set in 2037, two years after the worldwide bacterial infection called The Cure started, Mason Martinez and his two buddies try their best to survive in this post-apocalyptic world. But when Mason finds out about a so-called "safe zone" about 4 cities from where he stands, Mason strives to find it. Even if that means he has to cross the 4 main factions of his area. The Lab Coats, The Mercenaries, The Raiders, and the worst of all, The Salvation. And to find this safe zone, Mason is willing to do whatever it takes.
