    Successful photojournalist Kao has always felt a connection to the forest he grew up in. Having traveled all over the world, he always returned to the forest where he feels safe and at peace. In an unusual twist of fate, Kao gets lost in the woods so familiar to him...and comes face to face with Earth, the Spirit of the Forest who has always protected Kao...and has always loved him. 
    
    Earth always knew loving Kao went against everything he had been taught. Elemental spirits could not love mortal humans. But watching the impossible love of his closest friends Ohm, a fire spirit, and Fluke, a water spirit, made Earth brave; brave enough to believe his love for Kao had a chance. 
    
    Kao soon finds himself wondering if he, too, could have fallen for this beautiful young man, his childhood imaginary friend come to life.
