When a depressed, cheeky, and lonely Niall stays out late at night drunk, he has a horrible panic attack. But when a gang sees the performance they decide to jump Niall. He's getting beaten and almost killed until, Boom, a gun shoot. Niall turns his head and sees a girl holding a gun. "Come and get me assholes!" She yelled at the gang, they got off of Niall and charged her. She won that battle of course. When she goes back to where Niall was they instantly feel a connection. But the girl doesn't believe in love. She's afraid of it. Niall tries everything he could to come out on a date with her, when she finally says yes. But as their love grows stronger and stronger the girl begins to discover different things about Niall that she has never seen before, until it all goes wrong.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
