It's been three months since Augustus Waters passed and left Hazel alone and heartbroken. She can't help herself from dwelling on the pain of his untimely death rather than cherishing the memories they shared, resulting in isolating herself from everyone. Hazel is quite certain that she would rather join Augustus than live in a world without him. Until a mysterious letter arrives in the mail and she finally does venture outdoors. Her recovery relies on the words of a boy she's never met and the love she still feels from someone who isn't with her anymmore. Hazel's story hasn't been left on a sad note and Charlie's letters haven't been lost or forgotten.

The letter had arrived two days ago and Sidney was still trying to comprehend its contents. The news contained within had both grieved him and vexed him in equal measure, so much so that he had struggled to compose a reply, for what response could he make to such a letter? This fanfic follows the story of Sanditon but with a twist. I will write it episode by episode (but split into parts) so it will still largely follow the plot and include all the characters we know and love, but the twist will make things rather different (and hopefully interesting)... As always - a HEA is guaranteed!
