An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. His Arrogant Ways
Aaliyah/ Liyah- She's fierce and sassy. Has all the confidence in the world. Biggest problem? Hates people. Has one friend who she barely talks to. She can't stand people at all; especially arrogant jerks. Elijah- Ignorant, troubled and doesn't talk to people. He's never seen with anyone besides his best friends Jonah, Ethan, Jackson, Jay, Xavier, Alex, Toni and not to mention Eric. Never gets anything because he's captain of the basketball team. Jonah- Stubborn, hot, troubled just like Elijah, player and annoying. Xavier- Younger brother of Jonah, less troubled and annoying, keeps to himself. Jackson- 'Too ripped to care about anyone' so Aaliyah says. He loves his work out set and anything to do with the gym. Jay and Eric- Fraternal twins. They have different fathers because his mom was cheating, but is now happily married to a new man who will probably leave with her money in about two months. She doesn't seem to mind. Alex and Toni- Sisters who grew up with these oh- so famous boys. They've been close for years and don't really talk to any other girls aside from one another. They're close in age and with each other. I guess you could say they're 'conjoined at the hip'. When these people come together due to an incident resulting in them being stuck in school for twelve hours one night what will happen after? Will they keep in contact? Will Liyah find their arrogance too much? Or will she simply continue on like nothing happened?Complete
