Traveling with Tyrra and hiding from bounty-hunters, Kouri, a last member of the once great races, must learn to use his given magical abilities to defeat the King of Walenvarge, a country turned empire that has been oppressing the residents of Harruar for six years since the massacre of the strongest near-human peoples.
