Mature
Before the fear and before the snakes, Medusa was just a woman working for another woman. She worshipped her boss - Athena - deeply. Athena's only stipulation? That Medusa remained a virgin. Advances from practically every male she met did not sway her one bit. She kept her virtue and her word.

Unfortunately there was one man who couldn't take no for an answer.

Poseidon and Athena had an ongoing rivalry. He saw an opportunity to strike a blow so hard Athena would finally crumble. And it just so happened to walk right into his path.

Medusa, now broken beyond repair and cursed, seeks revenge (a dish best served stone cold).

The Woman With Snakes in Her Hair

12 parts Complete Mature

Highest Rating #14 in MEDUSA A modern Medusa revisits her tragic origin story. Disguised as a blind woman, Medusa navigates her way through modern society where the gods and other mythological figures roam about amongst their mortal playthings. Still carrying the weight of centuries-old abuse -- raped by Poseidon and transformed by Athena-- Medusa tries to learn her place in a world that often shows cruelty toward those who suffer. Is she a victim, a survivor, or simply a monster? Inspired by various interpretations of the Medusa myth and both Athena and Poseidon's involvement in her transformation.
