Evangeline is a young girl with a painful past which has left too many scars on her shoulders. Trying not to give up is hard, especially when she doesn't find the will to talk anymore. When fate takes her to the White mansion, she encounters a man who's set up to discover what she is hiding. However, the more he unravels her secrets, the more is Elijah White not willing to let Evangeline give up her life. *Excerpt* Watching her carefully, she darted her eyes in the room, looking for a way out because the door was behind me and she had to pass by me to reach it. I could see how her breathing became even more frantic and I cursed again under my breath, remembering now that I was standing before her, half naked, watching intensely a woman who was on verge of crying and screaming. I didn't even want to know how it would look like if someone else would come now in the room. My ego didn't miss the moment to show up and remind me that my body or my face didn't have the effect I wanted on this woman. Not even close. And the next second, I started to feel embarrassed. Very embarrassed. I didn't even know that I could ever use that word when referring to myself. I had to do something before this woman would faint right before me. Think about something, you idiot. If you were able to come up with this stupid plan, you should get out of it too. "I want you to help me put on a new shirt." Way to go, idiot. I couldn't think of something else but it didn't seem it worked because she eyed me suspiciously and now, I felt even more stupid. TRIGGER WARNING: This book contains strong language and mature themes of sexual abuse, drug use and death. These mature themes will be just mentioned a few times and I will distinctly outline those chapters. As mentioned, this book may contain sexual material but it will not be the main focus of the story. ****

Book 1 in ~The Ocean Series~ An ancient prophecy; a new world in another dimension; a ruthless king bent on destruction; a battle to save lives no one knew existed-how can a hero fight an enemy he's never before seen nor heard of? William 'Billy' Smith is an ordinary guy who one day comes across something extraordinary. He is now faced with a decision that tests his faith in God, and that of his closest loved ones. Can he be the man he was intended to be from the time before he was born? Can he be a hero and save thousands of lives he never even knew existed? A/N This story started as a made-up tale that I told my friends on a camping trip when we were kids. Slowly scribbled in an old notebook over the years, it has now been re-written and matured (hopefully) into a book to be enjoyed by many different ages! Might still be a bit childish, but bear with me! It is my first shot at a non-short story :)
