Fallon Wyn is just trying to trick-or-treat with friends on Halloween. But when a simple little shortcut through a field turns out to be anything but fun, Fallon watches as she is whisked away from the very life she knows.

Fallon dives into a world she couldn't even dream about, emerging somewhere that's very clearly no longer sunny California. She soon comes to grips that she's in a place called the Mid-Rim. 

Made up of hundreds of galaxies, the Mid-Rim is just one piece of whole entire galaxy. Fallon is given a choice that isn't easy to choose; to find a way home, or find somewhere to belong in this new world. Neither choice will be easy. As she comes to discover the Mid-Rim is full of surprises; bounty hunters, smugglers, and scavengers.
