Inkopolis bay is a new place to start, no more rotten past following X as they move in. They get situated easily enough, but...they still don't have friends, even with a curious sea hareling named Y following them around. Life is boring for a little while until Y takes them to meet their friends. And for a moment, life doesn't seem so bad...
Until they invade.

Strange hybrids of insects and cephalopods have come to Inkopolis bay to take everyone back to their home, wanting to please their ruler with the love for music, friends and battle that everyone has. With X, Y, and a few others surviving hidden in the ship of NS Arctorra, it's up to them to bring everyone back and restore the bay to what it was before.

When Callie is late to the Halloween party, Marie agrees to tell the others a story to kill the time. The story takes place long ago and is about a scientist that has no other dream but to create life. After many failures, he is forced to seek help from hooded figures that appear one night. He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it. Heyo! This is my first Splatoon fanfic here, so I hope it's not too cringy. A bit of swearing (maybe), but overall, pretty friendly (I hope). I'd say 10+ for ages. And none of the photos or characters that are in the book belong to me, unless I say so. Anyway, on to the description. (Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon.
