He's basically my older brother, especially since Jacki my older brother died playing for the Chiefs, he was their tight end. Patrick Mahomes has always been there for my family. When my mom died and when my brother died. It's just my dad and I now.
My mom died of Leukemia when I was 5 and my brother Jacki, was 10. Patrick was there and held me at the funeral. He was there when my brother died in the NFL doing what he loved and he was there when I was kidnapped at one of his NFL games against the patriots, in the Super Bowl.
But it wasn't just Patrick. It was Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman and just the whole team looking for me. I was their little sister too, not just Jacki's.

With his parents focused on his older brother's mental illness, Richard is forced to grow up fast and deal with the issues in his life all on his own. Making the transition from middle school to high school, learning about girls, coping with childhood obesity, dealing with racism, feelings of alienation, and strict parents are just some of the problems Richard must overcome alone; that is until a surrogate older brother steps in. ***Brother's Keeper is my first attempt at writing a novel. Previously all of my works have been short stories or poems. After some modest success in the #EWA2017 General Fiction category, I've decided to make some minor edits and repost the original chapters along with some of the later chapters . At least she has a normal childhood, or some part of normal. We didn't have the best childhood growing up. Well, me and Damien didn't. Mother gave Angel the best childhood she ever wanted. Sometimes, only sometimes when she was drunk or whatever with her stupid boyfriend did she punish Angel. That was once every blue moon. She was convinced me and Damien had Satan in us. While Angel, well she thought that Angel was an angel from Heaven. Now, let me stop rambling. This story will be an emotional roller coaster. Growing up with my brother there was always a couple of rules we swore to between us. 1. Always have each other's back. 2. Always text the clown emoji if you need an emergency phone call to escape. 3. Never ever let Tate have more then 7 beers. He always ends up regretting it. 4.
