Amelie Fortier had spent all her life in an all-girls school. She had practically no contact with any males other than her dad, older brother, and the old man working in her favorite coffee shop. While she was living a good life with her best friends, struggling with school, and preparing for her future, her parents suddenly decide to change all of that. Right before the start of her junior year, her parents decided to have her attend a normal mixed school with both girls and boys in a completely different country...fun, right?

Lucas Rivera is the school's "bad boy"...at least, that's what they call him. He is very smart and cares a lot about his grades, he only fights when he is attacked or when someone is in need, and he is always ready to join in helping with school activities. Though everyone calls him the bad boy because he has never had a girlfriend stay longer than 2 weeks and slept around with a couple of girls by the end of sophomore year. That title never seemed to annoy him though, and he didn't have any plans on changing it. Yet the arrival of the new girl is apparently going to change that.
