Korel has lived for 200 years, his existence not meaning much. He was created out of greed. He killed for the sake of his own friend who in turn tired to kill him and his creator.
Now he's lived many years alone. That is until he meets a boy dying of an unknown disease.
They become good friends as Korel visits him everyday. At first, it is only out of pity, but soon they become almost the best of friends.
It seems that Korel's blood can save the boy and Ikaru's blood is special towards vampires.
Korel's childhood has been erased but what's hidden in it. Ikaru too has a secret that not even he knows about. But it's starting to awaken.

It's not death it's art
Well what can you expect from an artist also born of blood? She was too young to remember much of anything that happened to them she was barely 6 months old but at least she was protected. Kept with her big brother. The only thing she has this memory of in the back of her mind is red everywhere and it was beautiful not in the same way her brothers think of it but more like an artist. She does photography for the police too. She teaches art to kids she helps her brother with his killings. Not in the way you think though. She's the only person that really understands him. She never saw him as a monster or something evil. Normal serial killers they're said to not have emotions or feelings but she knows that he loves her and that he's grateful for me. Dad never knew they kept it hidden well enough somehow that he never found out she knew the truth and their sister never knew either. "Grab that plate and throw it on the floor." I told him, handing him a plate. "Why am I---" "Just do it!" I yelled, trying to hold back the tears. He looked at me and took the plate from my hand, making careful moves so he didn't touch the tips of my fingers. "Throw it on the ground." I told him. I watched as he threw it down on the ground, pieces of one of my moms plates going everywhere. "Okay. Now what?" He asked me, a hint of impatience in his voice. I walked up to him so we were old inches apart, our noses almost touching. It would be so easy to just kiss him right now.... "Now say your sorry." I whispered to him, letting a tear slip. I felt his gentle hands wrap around me and pull me in closer. Our foreheads touched as he whispered the faithful words, "I'm sorry." I pulled away from him, making sure I didn't cut myself on the sharp shards of glass. "Did it go back to the way it was before?" I asked him, angry tears rolling freely down my face now. How could he do this to me? I am--was--his mate. He looked at me with a sad expression and then looked down. Strangled, he whispered, "No." "Do you understand now how my heart broke when I found out? Do you get it now?" "Jace, I'm--" "Don't even!" I yelled. I couldn't take this anymore. "Leave!" I screamed, letting my tears fall to the floor. He looked at me with a painful look. I felt myself die inside when he finally did turn and leave. ~*~*~*~*~* Jace didn't know what Damian was in the beginning. She thought he was just a normal boy that went to her school. Then, suddenly, she is whisked away into the world of werewolves and vampires, and the horrible war that goes on between them. Jace is stuck in the middle. Why? Because the Vampire king claims to be Jace is his, while Damian claims that she is his mate. Realizing what kind of position she is in, she decides to go with Damian. Here's a bombshell for you: I have eight brothers. Eight extremely attractive, smart, mischievous, crazy overprotective brothers. Well, step brothers. Trust me when I say that it didn't start out that way, with me having eight step brothers. My father got remarried when I was sixteen. Another bombshell for you: I had no clue that the marriage was happening until about three months before, and I only found out because we were moving from Texas to New York in a week. My Overprotective Brothers
For my entire life my older brothers have treated me like I am a fragile baby and they still do. Some of it is for their amusement and some of it is because they are just way too overprotective. There are five of them and one of me, not to mention they are all older, so there isn't much I can do about any of it. Elijah is my oldest brother at 22 and my second oldest brother Easton who is 20. My third oldest brother is Henry and is in his second year of college. Alexander, who goes by Alex, is 15 minutes older than his twin Miles and they are both 17 and are in their first year of college. Then finally I am 15, the youngest brother and am in high school in year 10. My Brothers are super overprotective and treat me like I am a small child and It does not help that I look like I am 12 and am super short. I've got this messy dark brown hair that never cooperates, along with these big brown eyes that seem to make me look even younger. Which does not help my case for my brothers to treat me like I am older. Then my parents are super rich and constantly working so I only see them on holidays so my brothers have raised me.
